Workshop Fee

Our Florida workshops in 2018 will be held at North Shore Aquatic Complex in downtown St. Petersburg. One week costs €950 per person and 2 weeks is €1800 (including €100 off). The workshop fee covers tuition, studio access, welcome reception, and french easel/pochade box.

It does not include airfare, lodging, meals, or art materials. It also does not include VAT (22% Italian sales tax). However, you can get an exemption by providing a copy of your passport.

French easels (left) go to the first 3 signees while pochade boxes (center & right) go to the next 2 signees.  Pochade boxes sit on top of a tripod.

How To Reserve and Send Payment

To reserve, please send a deposit of €250/€400.  Deposits are non-refundable. Please make your selection from the drop-down list below and then click the Paypal “Pay Now” button.  You may pay by credit card, debit card or echeck. Payment will be made to FRESIA at painting-at-fresia.com. Please note that if you don’t have a PayPal account, you don’t need to open one.

If your payment went through, you will automatically receive a payment confirmation from Paypal. Once you receive the Paypal confirmation, please send a copy of your passport to Conchitina at painting-at-fresia.com. It is an Italian tax requirement to get the VAT exemption.

You will also receive a workshop confirmation from Conchitina within 48 hours. A copy of the Italian invoice (fattura) is available upon request. Otherwise, the original will be given to you at the workshop.

We recommend that you book early due to limited class size. Also, as mentioned, we only have 5 easels available and requests will be fulfilled on a First Come, First Serve basis.

Payment of Balance

The balance is due on November 15 regardless which week you’re attending. You will receive a Paypal Money Request about a week before the due date. If you fail to pay the balance by the due date, your space will no longer be guaranteed and your deposit will be forfeited.

After November 15

Full payment is due if you are registering after November 15.  Please use the drop down list below.

Cancellation Policy

You will receive a refund (less the €250/€400 non-refundable fee) if you send us a cancellation notice by November 15. After that date, refunds are given only if we’re able to resell your space to our waitlist.

Travel insurance is highly recommended. You may compare travel insurance thru an online broker such as insuremytrip.com or squaremouth.com, and best to go with a well-known provider such as MH Ross, Travelex, Travel Guard, or Travel Insured Intl.

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop for emergency reasons, in which case you will receive a full refund (€950/€1800).
