Our Mission

Our goal is to provide you with a relaxing week, in an ancient romantic village, on one of the most beautiful places on earth - and - provide you with the right kind of knowledge so that you can enjoy painting for the rest of your life.

This is a "center based" workshop. Once you arrive you will not have to get into a car if you don't want to. Everything is within easy walking distance. Visit Bellagio, Varenna, Como or Menaggio by ferry and enjoy the unforgettable enchantment of "Lago di Como" out on the lake.

You may think of this week as an "art making holiday " and both as a holiday and in your art making, you will be refreshed and inspired.

To enhance your Italian holiday, we will also share with you our love of Italian food and wine. Using authentic Italian recipes from different regions, Conchitina serves lavish and sumptuous dinners at Villa de Herra on our terrace overlooking the lake.  You will delight in healthy, appetizing vegetarian cuisine that features the best of Mediterranean flavors. For those interested, Conchitina also offers classes in Southern Italian cooking as well as Mediterranean Meze.
