Accommodation (Winter)

Most hotels on Lake Como close for the winter.  These three are open in February and are closest to Fresia Studios. Restaurants, cafes, food shops, and the ferry/bus stop are all within walking distance from these hotels. Send us your room request and we’ll make the booking for you.

VILLA DE HERRA – apartment Sherry is housed within the same villa as Fresia Studios. It has a private bathroom, kitchenette and two French double beds. Wi-fi internet access is available. Minimum stay is 7 nights (Saturday-Saturday).

ALBERGO PLINIO (no website) – this pleasant 2-star B&B, which is near the villa, is also located on Lenno’s waterfront.  It provides basic but very clean rooms, some with amazing views. Room rates are the same for standard and lakeview rooms.  (no website)

LARIO HOTEL – this 4-star hotel is located in Mezzegra, the next town over, and you can reach it on foot (20 minutes) or by bus (3 minutes). The hotel makes available twin and double-bedded rooms (with or without lakeviews) at a reduced rate for students.

If you wish to rent an apartment close by, we can provide the contact information for you to make your own booking.

The cost of lodging is separate from the workshop fee. It also depends on the type of room that you choose (DBL = Double, STD = standard, LKVW = Lakeview).

*Rates include breakfast but do NOT include the hotel tax (€.30/day for 2-star and €1/day for 4-star)
